Orbit is a free, open-source, locally-run software application that helps you analyze and manage your personal network connections. The Software processes data exports from various social platforms entirely on your local machine.

3. License

Orbit is released under the MIT License. This means you are free to:

• Use the software for any purpose
• Modify the source code
• Distribute copies
• Include it in your own projects

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use Orbit in compliance with all applicable laws

5. Third-Party Services

Orbit integrates with third-party AI services (Google Gemini, OpenAI, etc.) that require you to provide your own API keys. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. Conexkt is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

6. Data and Privacy

Orbit processes data locally on your machine. You are solely responsible for:

• The security of your local machine
• Backing up any data you care about
• Compliance with data protection laws in your jurisdiction

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

• AI-generated insights will be accurate or complete

IN NO EVENT SHALL CONEXKT OR ITS CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Conexkt and its contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Software or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
